Review of the Draft Kenya National Energy Compact 2025-2030

The Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, State Department for Energy has developed an Energy Compact with support from World Bank and African Development Bank. The compact Represents the Government of Kenya’s Commitments ensuring reliable, affordable, sustainable, inclusive, and clean energy for all.

The compact sets targets for increasing access to on-grid and off-grid electricity customers, increase access to clean cooking, increasing the share of renewable energy and creating an enabling environment to attract private capital.

We are reaching out to the eCooking stakeholders in the energy sector in Kenya to provide input to ensure that we have a comprehensive, practical and inclusive compact.
